Digital Scrapbooking Wedding Page

Well, it’s happened. I was able to craft a decent amount and write quite a few posts at the beginning of my maternity leave because Brandon had 6 weeks off with me. It definitely helped get me through the toughest part of having a newborn to be able to get away a little bit and do something I enjoy.

However, I’ve now reached the point where I no longer have the free time to craft since he is back to work, and is starting to travel. I’m quite bummed I need to put this wonderful outlet of mine on hold, but I keep trying to tell myself that it’s temporary, and I’ll be back to my crafty self in no time. So, I’m taking everything in with my little ones and enjoying our time together while they’re little.

In the meantime, I wanted to share my first digital scrapbook layout from a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the designers of the elements any longer. I really enjoyed digital scrapbooking but I went away from it when I started working from home, because I was spending way too much time on the computer during the day to also be doing hobby stuff at night.

Now that I’m not working from home it’ll be less strain for me to start doing it again so I’d like to get back into it eventually. I still have my love for cardmaking (this was pre-cardmaking) and my newfound love for Project Life scrapbooking so I think I’ll just complete my wedding album digitally since I have a few layouts done already. After that, we’ll have to see! It’ll be awhile before I need to worry about it. 😉

Bridal Shower Invite

Back in May/June, I designed a bridal shower invite for my sister. It was actually quite simple because she was alright with me using basically the same design I created for my bridal shower, just tweaking it a little bit. I printed them out at Office Max, cut them out, and pasted them on black cardstock. They came together really quickly.

Digital Baby Shower Invite

Before I decided I wanted to hand-make my baby shower invite (a post earlier this month), I created a digital version of it. I will share since it’s done anyway, but I didn’t end up using it. I put together a bunch of free digital scrapbooking elements I had downloaded from various sites including Scrapgirls and DigitalScrapbookExperts.

Wedding Programs

Ok, to show I haven’t completely abandoned design and crafts in the past few months, here are two wedding programs I designed for some friends. I enjoyed working on them, and was excited to be able to print them at home, which saves everyone money!
