I came across the Ladies Devine stamp from Penny Black that I had recently converted from a wood mounted stamp to being acrylic-block compatible. It’s a great stamp to have converted because I can easily re-stamp it using my MISTI if I didn’t get a good impression the first time.
I happened to have my Paper Smooches stamps out when I grabbed this stamp and had an idea for a new greeting by doctoring a couple different sentiment stamps. Masking off the unnecessary letters, I was able to create a custom sentiment that matched my image. The result was this “Thanks So MOOch” card. The image was colored with distress markers and the sentiment was white heat embossed.
Here are the three Paper Smooches stamp sets that I put together to create my custom greeting:
Penny Black Ladies Divine stamp
My Favorite Things Pierced Oval die
Misc Tim Holtz distress markers
Paper Smooches Chubby Chums “sMOOches” stamp
Paper Smooches Chit Chat “so” stamp
Paper Smooches Word Salad “Many Thanks” stamp
Wink of Stella clear glitter brush marker
Ranger white embossing powder
Mama Elephant Hazel ink
Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain background stamp
K&C Designer Mat Pad paper (pink border paper)
Sakura Black Glaze pen
